  Components of Food  blog  8 A   Good Day to you ! In the previous class  we studied about various  minerals  and how a deficiency of these could result in various  deficiency diseases.  We are fortunate that we have  sufficient  food.  There are millions of children world wide who do not get sufficient  food and whose diet   is deficient in  nutrients, vitamins and minerals. On our school premises itself we have an organization –  Pratyek    that works  for children, trying to ensure that no child remains  hungry.   ZERO HUNGER.. . The organization also works for the rights of children trying to ensure that every child has access to  basic school education.
